Balmoral Knitwear in Galston has a fantastic Mill Shop where you can buy branded goods as well as its own exclusive label Burnawn. It is a real Aladdin’s cave.

We cater for Gents, Ladies and Children. We have a box of toys to keep young children amused whilst parents shop in peace. There are two changing rooms for you to try on garments and our staff offer friendly helpful advice. We also have a seconds "rumble box" offering fantastic bargains. We also have hankies, tartan blankets, tablecloths, jewellery, purses, wallets, bags, scarves & stolls, as well as lots of Scottish items.
We have a convenient car park just behind the shop with a ramp offering disabled access.
We offer friendly service away from the hassle of the High Street at fantastic prices!
Balmoral Knitwear has been manufacturing garments at its factory in Galston, Ayrshire, Scotland for over 100 years. The business is owned by the Mackie family and several members of the family are still involved with the business, as well as some 90 employees.
The longest serving member of staff has been at here for 39 years and if you convert that into hours, she has worked an amazing 68,172 hours at Balmoral! We have quite a few families working at Balmoral, one family in particular has a combined total of 90 years. We also have a husband and wife working at Balmoral with a combined total of 48 years experience between them.
